Graller del Barranc de la Pedregor

Avenc de 36 m. de profunditat a la Serra de Lleràs (Pallars Jussà)

Tremp • Pallars Jussà72m36m

A 36 m deep pit in the Serra de Lleràs (Pallars Jussà), explored on 22-10-1978 by the SIE – CEA and Oleguer Escolà (ERE – CEC).

Characteristics

Location

In the Serra de Lleràs (Pallars Jussà). Three and a half kilometres after passing Sapeira in the direction of Espluga de Serra, and one kilometre six hundred metres before reaching the village of Castellet, the track is crossed by a very wide torrent that comes down from the serra de Lleràs. Going up this torrent about 100 metres, a building like a shed is found on the left; one continues on until reaching a fork of ravines (the right-hand one goes towards the graller de Castellet or Espluga de la Fageda). Take the left-hand one until reaching the confluence of three torrents; one must follow the middle one; on the left a pierced rock is left behind and on the right a small crest rises (left bank of the torrent). Climbing about 15 metres above the streambed and almost at the top of the ridge, in a very craggy place that is difficult to locate, the mouth of the graller is found.

Coordinates of very low precision; the exact situation should be reviewed.
