Small pit in Sant Miquel de la Vall, Gavet de la Conca, 3.30 metres deep and 13 metres long, with the floor full of bones.

Location

It is found at the foot of the Carnestoltes crag, located immediately to the N of the village of Sant Miquel de la Vall and next to it, just below the escletxes d'en Coma -Minguera.

Description

Morphology

Small fissure 3.30 metres deep and a short passage of 13 metres.

Other details

The floor of the cavity is full of bones of all kinds, dogs, goats, sheep. Judging by the state of the remains, it seems that animals are no longer thrown inside.

History

Very probably the first exploration was carried out by the GIE del CE Gràcia in 1964.
