A group of crevices 40 metres deep at Sant Miquel de la Vall (Gavet de la Conca), with the upper entrance at l'escletxa d'en Minguera and the part of l'escletxa d'en Coma profusely covered in concretions.

Location

It is found at the cingle de Carnestoltes, located immediately to the N of the village centre of Sant Miquel de la Vall and right next to it, from where part of the crevices can be seen. It can be reached on foot from the NW side of the cliff.

Description

Morphology

The upper entrance corresponds to l'escletxa d'en Minguera, elongated and quite hidden by vegetation. An initial 8-metre pitch is followed by a steep slope with blocks in precarious balance and very dusty that lead us to l'escletxa d'en Coma, the two being connected. The part corresponding to l'escletxa d'en Coma is profusely covered in concretions, this one ending open to the outside.

History

The first record of exploration of which there is news corresponds to the GIE del CE Gràcia in 1964.
