Location

Leave the car at km 12.2 on the Castellet to Vilanova i la Geltrú road (BV-2115), from where a track (closed to vehicles) starts; follow it for 110 metres until you find on the right a path that runs parallel to the bottom of the Cova Fosca. Follow the path and after about 100 metres the cave is at the foot of the cliff we see on our right. There is no path to reach the cave, so you will have to climb up a steep slope through the forest and brambles. The two caves, about 4 metres apart, are difficult to locate, as they are quite hidden by the vegetation. They are about 50 metres to the NW of cave 25.

Description

Morphology

The cave has two entrances situated at different levels; both lead to separate small chambers that are joined by a 2-metre step that is easily climbed.

History

Known since time immemorial. Excavated by Joan Bellmunt around the year 1956. Of the two Cabra caves, Joan Bellmunt only published the cavity that appears here with the number 1, since number 2 yielded no archaeological remains.
