Small cave near Prades, 5 metres long by 12 metres wide at the entrance, with a bench in front taking advantage of the shade of the wall.

Location

We leave the old town centre of the village and follow Carrer Pau Picasso, pass in front of the schools and head to the ermita de Sant Antoni, continue along the track, pass beside a pond and continue towards the la Roca Foradada housing development, and a few metres before reaching it we find on the right a path with vehicle access barred by a chain, and the signs indicating towards la Roca Foradada. A few metres further on we find the cave.

Description

Morphology

Small cave 5 metres long by 12 metres wide at the entrance.

Other details

As a curious note, since it is right beside a path quite frequented by walkers, in front there is a bench in order to take advantage of the shade offered by the wall of the cave.

History

Known since ancient times in the area. The only reference data we have are those provided by G. Aymamí and J. de Valles, who visited it on 27 May 2016.
