Leave the village of Prades along carrer de les Hortes, reaching an old wayside cross, brought here from its original site which was, most likely, near one of the access gates of the town wall. From here we continue until we find a large clearing on the right that is the old football pitch, where we park. On the right we see a well-trodden path climbing through the wood; we go up by a kind of rock steps, which we suppose are the origin of the cave's toponym. In a few minutes we see the cavity ahead and at the foot of a small crag.
