Location

On the SW slope of Prat Llong. In the middle area of a cliff where there is a ledge and where the wide entrance of the cavity is found.

Description

Morphology

Inside the wide entrance of the cavity there are two passages: on the right, a side gallery of the same height as the entrance but which ends after a few metres. The other begins further to the left and in front of the entrance. After a few metres, between blocks, one can penetrate through a low gallery with a ceiling and about 12 m in length that leads into a terminal chamber from which a chimney rises 12 m until it becomes closed.

Progression

From the upper part of this chimney hangs a rope installed years ago and we do not know who the installers were.

However, on the outside part of the entrance there is another installation (in Y) from which hangs a very long rope that descends the cliff to the base of the torrent.

History

The first news about this cave was provided to us by Lluís Carmona (Gósol), who located and visited it in early July 2026.

With this data, two weeks later Jordi Francès went to the cave and made the survey.

It should be said that, although the cavity is unpublished speleologically, the rope installation found at the final chimney indicates that the cave had been known for a long time. We do not know who the installers were and obviously of the first exploration, nor of the name they were supposedly going to give it.
