Located in el Bruc, take carrer de les Escoles, which immediately crosses the torrent de l'Illa and then climbs up to carrer de la Parròquia. Here you must go to the left and continue straight, ignoring the turnings to the right and left. After 1200 metres, leave the car in a small esplanade beside an olive grove. Continue along the track on the right and after about a hundred metres turn right onto a path that leads across the torrent dels Pallers. The path continues uphill to the coll del Xincarró and then descends again towards the torrent del Tambor. Shortly before reaching the torrent bed, the roca del Castell (the largest one) can be seen, and a few metres further up, the roca de la Cova del Tambor. Continue a few metres downstream and turn left, now without a path, to look for this rock, at the base of which the cave is found.
