Characteristics

Location

Located in el Bruc, we take carrer de les Escoles, which immediately crosses the torrent de l'Illa and then climbs up to carrer de la Parròquia. Here we will go to the left and continue straight, ignoring the turnings to the right and left. After 1200 metres we will leave the car in a small esplanade beside an olive grove. We will continue along the track on the right and after about a hundred metres we will turn right onto a path that will take us across the torrent dels Pallers. Now the path continues uphill to the coll del Xincarró and goes back down towards the torrent del Tambor. Shortly before reaching the torrent bed we will see the roca del Castell (the largest one) and a few metres further up, the roca de la Cova del Tambor. We will climb up a path that rises towards the serrat del Cabrit. After a distance of about 300 metres we will reach the ridge and will have to turn left, in the direction of the S end of the serrat, where we will find the cova del Cabrit after covering about 100 metres.

From the cova del Cabrit we will follow a path that runs along the base of the western crag of the serrat del Cabrit. In just under 300 metres we will reach the cova del Cingle de l'Arcada, easily visible beside the path.
