Small cave 10 metres long in the Viu de Llevata (Pont de Suert), with a triangular-section entrance and a gallery obstructed by clay.

Characteristics

Location

It is located 100 metres NE of the Graller del Serrat del Pasqual further down and on the right-hand slope of the serrat, before encountering a tall vertical wall. Approximate coordinates and location with little precision.

It happens that this cavity was published by the same authors both in Espeleòleg (2) in 1967 and in Montaña (115) in 1968. While in one it says that the cavity is located 100 metres SW of the Graller del Serrat del Pasqual, in the other it says that it is 100 metres NE. To top it all off, all later catalogues say that it is 100 metres E.

Description

Morphology

Triangular-section entrance (supported block) and a gallery 10 metres long that ends obstructed by decalcification clay and detrital materials.

History

Explored by the ERE of the CEC on 5 January 1966.
