Description
Morphology
Cave about 7 metres deep by about 10.30 wide, excavated in the characteristic red sandstone of the area, which presents some veins of gypsum. The front part is closed by a stone wall one metre high. A quarter of the cave is invaded by vegetation.
Other details
The cave was used as a shelter for livestock; on the floor there is still straw and some excrement. Given the dimensions of the cavern, the herd could not have been very large. On one side of the entrance there is a large hinge that would have formed part of a small door.
History
Known since time immemorial, although it had never been cited speleologically. Referenced on the ICGC map, although poorly located.
