Description
Morphology
Access is via the lower mouth, where the water flowing through the Sant Roc gully emerges; a short gallery of 7 metres places us before a small step that is easy to climb if the water is not flowing too strongly. Once past this step we are in the middle part of a pit with a drop of 6 metres that has been formed by the erosion from the water flowing through the gully; from here an ascending ramp leads us to the upper part of the cavity, right in the middle of the gully bed. The total drop is 6.5 metres.
Hydrology
At the lower part of the step there is more water, probably as a result of a loss at a higher level of the gully, hence the name fountain.

History
Cavity known since olden times and frequented by hikers.
Note: a little further on and near this cavity, there is a spot called Cova dels Capellans, through which the same hiking route passes. In reality it is a large block that has fallen into the middle of the gully in the form of a roof; steps have been cut into the inner rock to climb up it and a handrail cable has been installed; this rock forms a passage of about 4 metres and the path passes through its interior.
