Location

On the C-233 road from La Granadella to El Soleràs, once past the chapel of Sant Antoni, at kilometre 24.1 and along the side of the Sant Antoni pool, we follow the track on the right, which is the camí de les Figueres; at 250 metres we find a fork where we continue to the right; after covering 1780 metres and at the height of the Aran pool we follow the track on the right, and at 2145 metres we turn off onto the track on the left, which we follow for a further 600 metres; at this point the track passes over the cave, and the best path to reach it must be sought.

Description

Morphology

It is an elongated rock shelter 63 metres wide; the walled part, almost square in shape, is 8 metres deep.

Other details

It consists of two rooms, one of which served as a dwelling or hut, while the other was used as a livestock pen. In this rock shelter each of the two spaces is perfectly defined, since the pen retains the feeding trough; there are also some cages, possibly for chickens. The rooms are divided by an internal wall closed by a door with a wooden lintel.
