Granadella, La • Garrigues13m0

Large walled rock shelter at the Granadella (les Garrigues), 82 m wide by 13 deep, with a dry-stone wall, wooden door and interior structures.

Characteristics

Location

From the Granadella we will follow the C-233 road towards the Soleràs as far as the chapel of Sant Antoni. From km 24.13 it is necessary to continue along the track that begins on the right (Camí de les Figueres). After covering 1780 m we will reach the bassa de l'Aran and here we will turn left. Shortly afterwards we will reach the mas de l'Aran, which is left on the left; it is necessary to continue along the track (in increasingly worse condition) that reaches the cave, which is quite visible.
