Description

Morphology

A large entrance of 13 by 1.5 metres gives way to a single gallery almost 32 metres long with heights ranging from 3 to 10 metres. The width varies between 1.50 and 2.50 metres.

Hydrology

The entire gallery is occupied by seawater, which has a depth of almost 2 metres along its whole length.

History

It is possibly known to local sailors since long ago and may be called by another name, but the only reference we have is the one given by members of the SIRE – UEC who explored and surveyed it in August 1998.

Bio

The cavity is frequented by bats and has a large quantity of sea anemones and other stinging animals.
