The balmes are located in the rocks of Medes (Odèn).

To get there, from Oliana follow the road to the Valldan; almost upon arriving, take a turnoff to the right up to the collada del Sàlzer, where you take a track to the left, pass through the Sàlzer and, on reaching the riu de la Móra, where there is a farm, leave the vehicle.

You start walking along an abandoned path that climbs alongside the torrent on the right slope. You enter the forest and gradually climb until you reach the foot of the cliff of the ridge of the rocks of Medes. Before reaching the end, leave the path and follow the slope without a path or trail, in a northerly direction, until approximately the foot of the cliff, and continue along the foot of the cliff until you find the two balmes separated by a short distance but very similar. They are the balmes del Jordi Ramon.
