Small walled cavity in Guardiola de Berguedà, a low-roofed shelter with a flat floor, two interior crevices and a dry-stone wall at the entrance.

Location

From Bagà, we will take the BV-4024 road heading to Coll de Pal. Above Km. 16.5 we will take a track on the left that climbs towards the Mirador dels Orris; after about 40 m from the road we will leave the track to climb on the right up a small scree slope and head to the rocky outcrop for another 40 m approximately.

The cavity is located at the base of the rocky outcrop, a few metres above the lower end, about 40 m from the Forat dels Eugassers and at a lower elevation.

Description

Morphology

Small shelter with a low, flat roof. In its innermost part there are two small crevices, impassable but of appreciable length.

Other details

It also has a closure at the entrance with a dry-stone wall to make the space usable as a shelter or refuge.
