Balmes del Castell de Vilademàger

Petites balmes prop del Castell de Vilademàger (la Llacuna, Anoia)

Llacuna, La • Anoia5m0

Small rock shelters near the Castell de Vilademàger, in la Llacuna (Anoia): shelter no. 1 or del Camí del Castell and shelter no. 2 or de Sota el Castell.

Characteristics

Location

The rock shelters are located in la Llacuna, in the comarca of Anoia, in the vicinity of the complex formed by the church and the castle of Vilademàger.

To get there, one leaves the village of la Llacuna along the paved track that passes beside the cemetery. In the first 500 m there is a very tight bend, where the car can be parked in a small widening. Turning back, shelter no. 1 is immediately visible on the right, a few metres above the track. Continuing along the same track to a junction, one must take the right-hand turnoff that leads to the castle; here the car is left in order to descend along a path that goes down on the opposite side from where one has arrived, and shelter no. 2 is immediately found.
