Location

It is a large, well-known shelter in Sant Feliu de Codines, in the Vallès Oriental.

To get there, entering Sant Feliu de Codines via the C-59, coming from Caldes de Montbui, at the roundabout at the entrance to the village you must take the second exit, towards the Aldees SOS. Once past these, you will see the sewage treatment plant on the right, and about 400 metres further on, right at a tight bend to the right, you must go up about 100 metres along the torrent Fondo, on the left of the track.

Description

Morphology

Large shelter that presents some important stalagmitic masses at its entrance which allow an internal gallery to be formed. The lighter part of the shelter has a stone wall that would have been used to keep flocks.

History

Shelter known since time immemorial. The archaeological excavations resulted in the discovery of Middle Palaeolithic materials.
