Going along the road from Alcover to Capafonts (TV 7041), before reaching Mont-ral and a few metres before reaching Km. 10, a track comes off, asphalted at first, which crosses the Pla de les Perdius. We will come to a junction where we will turn right in the direction of the Pejan quarry (currently abandoned) and the Cabrera refuge. On reaching the height of the quarry the track makes a marked turn to the right followed by another to the left; we will continue straight on until reaching the next turn to the right; at this point we will leave the vehicle and walk back a few metres in order to go down to a path that passes between the track and the residual cone of the quarry; we will follow the path in a N direction until we find a small path on the right which in a few metres, in the middle of the wood, will take us to the mouth of the pit.
