Characteristics

Location

Driving along the road from Alcover to Capafonts (TV 7041), before reaching Mont-ral and a few metres before reaching Km. 10, an initially asphalted track branches off, crossing the Pla de les Perdius. We will come to a junction where we will turn right towards the Pejan quarry (currently abandoned) and the Cabrera refuge. On reaching the height of the quarry the track makes a marked turn to the right followed by another to the left; we will continue straight on until reaching the next turn to the right, at which point we will leave the vehicle. We will continue along the asphalted track until reaching the point where it crosses the GR-7. From the left-hand side of the track a steep path branches off that brings us to the base of the cliff; we will follow the base of this cliff for a few metres in a westerly direction, where we will find the cave at the base of the cliff.
