A 33 m deep fissure in the Pinetell area, in the Muntanyes de Prades. Discovered and explored by members of GIEM – Club Excursionista Montblanc in April 1994.

Location

Via the TV-7044 road from la Riba to Farena, one reaches the small village of el Pinetell. From here one must follow a path heading W that leads to the area of lo Planot, and from there, with no path, one must continue further W, going in search of the cliff that dominates a torrent already near its confluence with the Brugent river, until finding a sufficiently visible fissure where the mouth of the pit opens.

Description

Morphology

A fissure of predominantly vertical structure that by a series of drops, a very steep ramp and a small shaft reaches 33.5 metres of depth, where it remains choked by boulders.
