A 39 m deep fissure in Mont-ral, located and explored in March 1996 by GIEM – CE Montblanc.

Location

About 500 metres NW of the mas de la Plana. Follow the same itinerary as for going to the avenc del Mas de la Plana, from the road from la Riba to Farena. Before reaching the aforementioned mas, take the track on the right and after about 300 metres follow a path that climbs towards the N and goes up to a small hill where the cavity is found.

Description

Morphology

Fissure with a SE – NW direction with two passable openings inside and three impassable ones. The whole cavity descends on a steep slope and some drops. In the deepest sector there is a small 7-metre pit where the joint closes on all sides until it becomes impassable.
