The pit is located in Tivissa. Access is complicated: the track that leaves Tivissa and follows the camí de la Llena, shortly before reaching the mas de la Devesa, is closed by a padlock, with signs prohibiting the passage of both vehicles and people. From behind the mas de la Devesa a path sets out that crosses a streambed and heads towards the mas d'en Benito. From this mas one must climb across fields and old terraces up to the serra Segrentana, which runs perpendicular to the serra de la Creu. One must follow the ridge formed at its upper part on the right-hand side for some 200 metres to a small collet. The cavity usually has its entrance covered by a slab and can be located by a cairn of stones at the top of the collet. The coordinates are approximate, based on a map from 1952 at a scale of 1:50,000 with little reliability.
