Location

Located at the avenc dels Talps, you only need to cross the small torrent and climb a little up the ridge, moving slightly to the right. It can also be reached by descending from the turó d'Aguilar along the carena del mas Pinetó; before reaching the junction of the avenc de les Dues Boques, descend about 20 metres to the right.

Description

Morphology

The 3 x 1 metre entrance leads to an 8 metre pit. About 3 metres from the entrance there is a ledge. At the base of the pit and in a N direction, after descending a small step, a 4 metre gallery formed by a tall joint continues. In its upper part there is a short, very narrow gallery.

Again at the base of the pit in a S direction and after passing a narrow step under a flowstone, you enter a room with a very low ceiling; in its upper part there is a short ascending gallery.

Cavity structured on a N12E – S12O joint, used as a sink. The final room has been formed with the help of a sandstone stratum.

Speleothems

The reconstruction processes are notable.

History

Cavity discovered and explored for the first time in 1964 by members of the now-defunct Talps group of the Centre Excursionista del Vallès.
