Location

From the font del Carme a small path heads into the forest in a N direction. This half-lost path crosses a ruined terrace and later crosses another one. We will follow it about 20 metres further until we find a kind of rabbit burrow that is the entrance of the pit.

Description

Morphology

The entrance, of reduced dimensions and swallow-hole shaped, through a narrow passage gives us access to a 2 metre drop, from where a 4 metre gallery continues and ends among blocks and stones.

Structured on a N90E – S90O joint, used as a swallow hole, currently fossil and which has undergone some clastic processes.

History

The discovery and first exploration was carried out by members of the disappeared SECES (Secció d'Espeleologia del Centre Excursionista de Sabadell) around the year 1965.
