Location

From the path that leads from coll de Pal to the refugi Niu d'Àliga, and past the cavity CP-1/SG7, after about a hundred metres we will turn to the right and find the small entrance among a highly fractured rascler.

Description

Morphology

We are in a diaclase, an entrance of 1.45 by 0.34 metres, but we can only access it through a small hole of 0.70 by 0.34 metres, totally selective for the passage of explorers.

Past the narrow section, we find a ledge at -2 metres that drops us into a P-16. The base of this pit places us in the main gallery, which is about 1.50 metres wide. Next, we will descend a scree ramp to position ourselves in a lower gallery, where we will find the lowest point of the cavity and the end of the pit. This last gallery is a fissure about 0.50 metres wide.

The elevation and length data are approximate, since the survey was not completed.

History

Cavity located at the end of the 1970's by members of GEFOMA, although they only tagged the entrance.

In 1990 the same cavers, but now as members of the SIE del CEA, explored it again.

It was not until the summer of 2011 that members of GE Badalona and CE Castellar fully explored it.

During those same days they located SG-8, which they apparently did not get to explore, and SG-10, which they could not explore due to the narrowness of the fissure.
