Località

Leaving Sant Pere de Ribes in the direction of Vilanova along the BV-2117 road, on reaching kilometre point 3.9 one must take the turn-off to Can Ramonet. A few metres before reaching an electrical substation one must follow the track on the left in the direction of the Els Vinyals housing estate. On crossing a second scree slope one must ascend by a faint path, more or less waymarked, that climbs up to the cavity. Five metres to the S of Gelasa I is II.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Cavity with widths between 0.5 and 1 metre. It begins with a steep ramp that becomes vertical and narrows until it becomes impassable. In the upper part a double gallery that rejoins and then soon narrows.

Storia

The first reports of the cavity are those of the members of the GET of the AE Talaia (Vilanova i la Geltrú) who explored it around the year 1970. It is currently well known to hikers of the region.
