Naut Aran • Val d'Aran4m1m

A tiny cavity with 4 m of passage at Cap dera Serra (Naut Aran), discovered on 5 August 2020.

Characteristics

Location

The cavity opens to the southeast of the summit of Cap dera Serra (2247 m).

From Salardú, follow the C-28 towards the Port de la Bonaigua as far as the entrance to Baqueira, turn left towards the Plan de Beret (C-142b) and then reach the Beret car park.

In August, take the Blanhiblar chairlift and reach the upper station. At other times, follow the resort's technical track that starts from the south corner of the Beret car park (1846 m).

Then head towards a circular building (refreshment bar). From the southern end of the terrace, follow a well-marked path towards the southeast, around a rocky point, and descend south towards a clearly visible telecommunications antenna. The cavity is about fifteen metres further down.
