History

Explored by the ERE of the CEC in 1969, who returned on 18 January 1970. The first explorers, unaware that the hole was already known in the area as Pou del Dring, gave it the name "Avenc de Pau Esteve", which was the name of the hunter who indicated the cavity to them. According to the latest information, the area where these cavities are found would be located in a private hunting preserve.
