Location

Located to the SE of the other cavities in the sector, (Avenc del Mort; Cova del Pla; Avenc Pau Esteve or Pou del Dring). The pit opens at the bottom of the second fissure found when climbing from the Mas d'Arçosa, on the N side of the serra d'Arçosa and to the SW of the Mas.

Description

Morphology

Small cavity, opening at the bottom of a fissure; a descending crawl on a steep slope gives access to the main gallery of the cavity, 15 metres long and about 3 metres wide, with the floor entirely occupied by clastic materials.

History

Explored by the ERE of the CEC on 18 January 1970. According to the latest information, the area where these cavities are found would be located in a private hunting preserve.
