Space between blocks, of no speleological interest, in Montserrat.

Location

The approach is the same as that of the cova de l'Arcada. Once past it and when the path turns left toward the torrent del Lloro, on the right is the torrent de les Grutes, which must be followed upstream until reaching the rock shelter in the very middle of the torrent.

Description

Morphology

A monumental rock enclosed in the bed of the torrent de les Grutes forms a capricious overhang in equilibrium, beneath which a good space can be reshaped for spending the night.

Other details

It is a little-used rock shelter because of its location far from the main objectives of climbers.
