Description
Morphology
The rock shelter has dimensions of 13m in length by 3.50m in depth and a height of 2m.
The cova de la Foranca is 3.80m deep by 4m long and has a maximum height of 0.85 m; the cavities are located very close to one another, 3.50m apart.
Hydrology
la Foranca is a spring where water capture and underground piping works were carried out, and also at the rock shelter located beside it.
Other details
Both cavities have artificial walls, the result of works carried out to make use of the water that springs there, where lateral brick walls and the remains of a wooden reel for winding hoses can be seen. We know through oral transmission that someone had hidden in this spot during the civil war.
History
Known since remote times. In June 2020 they are visited by members of the GE Badalona who carry out the cataloguing work.
