Description
Morphology
Shaft developed along a joint oriented N-S. The opening is quite narrow (0.60 x 0.30 m) and is covered with stones by the shepherds. Consisting of a single vertical drop of 7.80 metres and its base is totally occupied by debris.
Hydrology
On a second exploration (October 1977) an upward air current was detected. According to the local people, in times of flooding the cavity becomes charged, although water has never been seen coming out of the mouth. The doubt remains whether it could be an overflow of the nearby Uelh der Sescorjada.
Progression
Despite an attempt at clearing, the final narrowness could not be passed.
History
Cavity known to the shepherds of the area since time immemorial. The first exploration took place in August 1975 by Y. Besset (G.S. Pyrénées) and members of the URSUS and GRESS groups of Lyon. In October 1977 an attempt at clearing was made by members of the G.S.Pyrénées.
