From Senterada a track leads to Adons; before reaching it there is the small hamlet of Corroncui. The pit is located to the N of this point and, as Oleguer Escolà comments, not far from one of the towers of the power line that passes through this area (les Esplanelles, according to the ICGC).

From its entrance, the line of sight to the summit of Sant Gervàs is 210º.
