Location

About 20 metres S of the start of the Canal dels Micos, on a narrow ledge with a few small trees. You must reach the start of the Canal dels Micos, descend a few metres to the left (South), to access the aforementioned narrow hanging ledge, which in about 20 metres brings you to the entrance of the hole.

Description

Morphology

Narrow little cave with a T-shaped plan. With a small entrance, you enter a passage 4 metres long that meets perpendicularly another one about 7 metres long.

No survey is available.

History

The only data we know are those given by the Montserrat monk P. Guiu Camps, in a document resulting from an interview conducted with him by members of the Grup Espeleològic Pedraforca (Barcelona) in 1969, which represented the start of a campaign they carried out during 1970 and 1974 in the Montserrat massif. Although P. Guiu cites it as Forat del Camí dels Ecos, the GEP catalogues it as Cova de la T.

At the end of 2017, our colleague Josep Guarro located the cavity and sent us the correct data on its location.
