Location

At the last bend of the road, shortly before reaching the village of Serradell, a wide path branches off to the right in a N direction. Shortly before crossing the torrent of the Llau de la Font and a few metres to the left of the path is the Font de Serradell. Currently, some signs call it Font Fresca.

Morphology

Active spring with a 16-metre passage.

Hydrology

Active spring, explorable for a short stretch depending on the water level.

Progression

After the entrance gallery is the first sump, passable via an upper passage that leads back over the active gallery, becoming impenetrable within a few metres.

History

Known since time immemorial, N. Font i Sagué already cites it in 1897. GE Badalona explores it in 1961.
