Location

Going along the path of the Castells, which comes from the bottom of the gully, it goes into the barranc del Bufador de l'Aferamot and winds to the left looking for the path of the Pla de l'Escoté. Once on the path that levels out towards this plateau, we will notice the visible ridge that delimits the gully descending from the right of the Castells. On this ridge are the avenc dels Tormos and the avenc de l'Escolopendra. A glossy tormo marks the culminating point as if it were a cairn. Below, a crack between this pinnacle and the platform of the Castells leads us to the mouth of the hole. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A 12-metre-deep pit at La Morera del Montsant.

Progression

Once past the first narrow section of the entrance, the crack descends rapidly to a point where it is necessary to lie down on the ground to continue progressing, helped by the slope. Then an equally narrow but more vertical passage leads us to a somewhat wider base where a block covers a probable continuation.
