Esquerda dels Mosquits

Esquerda de 5 metres de recorregut a zona de Port del Comte (Guixers).

Guixers • Solsonès5m1m

A 5-metre-long fissure in the Port del Comte area (Guixers), explored on 25 August 1984 by CE Solsonès.

Characteristics

Location

We will start from Port del Comte, from the chalet on the pla de Bacies heading SE, first over grassy terrain. Little by little we will gain altitude until we reach a small col with a telecommunications hut (2,130 m). If we descend in a southerly direction, down this large funnel-shaped slope, we will come out at a sloping terrace, passing through a wide channel with scree.

Once on this terrace we head W for about 200 m and descend a channel with great caution, passing beside “l’Esquerda dels Mosquits.”
