The cave is located at les Sansuies (Montmell). It is reached via the TV-2401 road from la Bisbal del Penedès towards Juncosa de Montmell; once past kilometre 3, turn right towards the masies de Sansuies. Once in the urbanisation area, follow the main street until the asphalt ends; follow the track until reaching a crossroads where a padlock blocks the way ahead, right at the height of a rounded construction with a pit beside it. Continue along the track on the right, now only suitable for all-terrain vehicles, until reaching the second turning on the right; the track levels out until reaching a kind of small square where one can turn around. Here begins a path that climbs the right hydrographic slope of the ravine, until finding a turning on the left that climbs the slope up to a cliff known as cova del Garriga, where climbing is practised and where there is a large number of fully equipped climbing routes. Once at the base of the cliff, we pass in front of the entrances of caves no. 3 and no. 2, and we find cave no. 1 about 3 metres above the ground just before reaching the rock shelter.
