Walled rock shelter at the Granadella, 40 metres wide, 10 metres deep and about 6 metres high at the entrance.

Characteristics

Location

Leaving the Granadella along the C-233 road towards Bovera, at kilometre 20.19 we follow a path that branches off to the left; we follow it for 180 metres to a junction where we continue straight on; after 210 metres we find a turn-off to the right which we follow for about 40 metres until it ends; the rock shelter is ahead, about 40 metres away.

Morphology

Rock shelter 40 metres wide, 10 metres deep and about 6 metres high at the entrance.

Other details

A very damaged stone wall closes off almost half of the rock shelter. Inside there are various agricultural tools.

History

Known since ancient times in the area.
