Location

Off the track of the Vall d'Horta, on the left-hand side going towards the Marquet de la Roca. Shortly after the junction for going to the pits of the Muntada.

Description

Morphology

Small fossilised spring, set in a N20O-S20E joint, of which only the first 5 or 6 m are penetrable, as the height decreases from 2 m to a few centimetres. It seems to widen a little after this passage.

Other details

The floor consists of washed-in gravels and sand.

History

The first record we have of this small cavity is from the visit that members of the GES – CMB made in October 1956.
