Location

From Pradell de la Teixeta we will follow the TV-3223 road towards the N-240 road; after 85 metres we will leave the turn-off leading to the cemetery on the right, and 100 metres further on we will turn off onto a paved track with some sections that we will follow for 550 metres, where we will find a junction; we will continue to the right for about 45 metres and park; in front of us there is a flat area with a tree in the middle; on the other side of the flat area and to the right a path sets off that first goes down and then goes back up over a route of about 150 metres until reaching the cave.

Description

Morphology

The entrance, 13 metres wide by 3 metres high, is entirely built with dry stone; through a built portal it leads into a flat and very dusty chamber, from which various corridors emerge, generally oriented N and NE, with some interconnections between them.

History

A cavity known in the area since time immemorial; it was given its name because of the custom of one of the rectors of Pradell of regularly walking to the cave.

At present, nocturnal shows are usually held in the cave chamber in summer, during the EVA Festival of storytelling out loud.
