Location

From Pradell de la Teixeta we will follow the TV-3223 road towards the Torre de Fontaubella; after travelling 775 metres we will turn left onto the camí de Ràfols, follow it for 770 metres and turn left onto an uphill, zigzagging track; when we have covered 1,170 m from the road we will turn right onto a signposted path that in about 50 metres will bring us to the cave.

Description

Morphology

A wall built of dry stone gives access to a wide chamber 16 metres long. The floor is quite flat and artificially arranged in three levels.

Hydrology

The lowest level, situated on the left, seems to have served as a pool to collect water.

History

Although speleologically it had never been catalogued, it is quite well known in Pradell de la Teixeta, since many people from the village hid there during the civil war.
