Hydrology

Water levels vary according to the state of the sea.

History

Known since ancient times and with clear signs of being frequently visited by inconsiderate people. The ERE – CEC visited it on 25-10-2017, carrying out the corresponding cataloguing work.

In fact, we do not know the place name by which this cavity is known, and because of its location it has been decided to name it Cova del Fortí de la Reina. It should be said, however, that in some documents and hiking itineraries it is mentioned under the name of the nearby Cova del Gos.
