Description
Morphology
Large opening of 8 x 6 metres, facilitated by the weak sandy limestones facing the swell. At the bottom of the concavity, two short extensions begin. In the one on the W side, a collapse opened a shaft to the outside, which is protected by a masonry enclosure and where a drainpipe can still be seen, which allows one to suppose it served to discharge the wastewater from one of the pavilions of the old sanatorium of la Savinosa.
History
Known since ancient times, although it had never been mentioned in the speleological bibliography. In July 2018 it was visited by members of the ERE – CEC who carried out the cataloguing work.
