Description
Morphology
The cave consists of a single, almost straight gallery 32 metres long, with the width varying from 1 metre at the beginning to 2.5 metres at the end. The height is 7 to 8 metres throughout.
Hydrology
The most notable feature is the depth of the sea, which at the start reaches 14 metres. Also worth noting is a bedrock that submerges to 4 metres and even rises above the water level, hindering the passage of boats.
History
Despite being known in the area since time immemorial, no speleological account appears until the visits made by the Badiella brothers (SIS – CET) in the early 1980's.
