Description
Morphology
The mouth is a fissure 5 metres high, 1 wide and 5.5 metres deep below sea level. The cavity presents a single straight gallery 14 metres long that ends in a narrow joint, through which 5 more metres can be glimpsed.
Hydrology
Just before passing Punta des Banc, coming from Aigua Xelida, there is a hole known as es Xuclador. It is an impenetrable fissure that has communication with the sea and, due to the waves, an air current is felt through the fissure. When there is a heavy swell, however, it expels water violently.
Progression
At the entrance itself there is a curious submerged rock bridge and there is also a rock that must be climbed until returning again to the water, turning out to be another rock bridge that can likewise be passed under the water.
History
The only data we know are those provided by members of the SIS – CE Terrassa who explored and surveyed it in August 1986.
