Description
Morphology
The mouth is 6 metres high by 1.5 wide and 5 metres below sea level. At 6 metres along, a gallery branches off in a NE direction that leads in 7 metres to the outside, although the passage is very narrow. There follow 25 metres of gallery where the ceiling stays at a height of 7 metres and a maximum width of 5 metres, until reaching a large block that protrudes from the water. From this point the gallery continues 10 metres more with barely 1 metre of water depth until reaching a collapse. Next there is a narrowing of the gallery and a chimney, and a low-ceilinged chamber and a small beach.
Speleothems
A chimney is covered with stalagmitic flowstone, which also covers the walls of the last 8 metres of the cave.
History
Known since remote times. The only data we know are those provided by members of the SIS – CE Terrassa who explored and surveyed it in July 1984. Everything seems to indicate that it is the same cave that on the ICC map appears named as Cova del Doll, and also known as such by kayak practitioners.
