Description

Morphology

A wide mouth of 7 metres and a ceiling that is not very high (1.5 m) allows entry through a passage that leads to a wide vestibule. At 16 metres, the ceiling rises to 5 metres, while the ground level loses depth.

Progression

At the end of this hall we find, on the right, a small pebble beach, while on the left a gallery, now dry, allows one to gain, somewhat crouched, half a dozen metres more.

History

Although known for a very long time by the people of the area, the first speleological reference is provided by members of the GES – CMB who explored and surveyed it in August 1982. Later, members of the SIS – CE Terrassa also explored and surveyed it in August 1987. It seems that there are also those who call it Cova del Nero and Cova d'en Fabiano.
